This is my second fanfic! ^-^ i hope you all enjoy it! (this one is a working progress!) [glow=lightblue,2,300] [/glow]
Prologue (Story of Blue’s Life, Narrated by Blue)
Let’s see, this whole thing started about 16 years ago, when my older brother was still a little kid, of about five years old. When my mom had to go to the hospital, my dad took her and my brother Noland was left at our house with my aunt and uncle. Noland told me one time, that he waited the entire time by the phone for Dad to call. My aunt and uncle tried to tell him that it was time for dinner and that he should come to the table and eat, but Noland would not move from the phone. He said that he wanted to be the first to hear the news.
So once my Dad finally called, Noland grabbed the phone, and was so excited. He had found out that he had a new baby sister, i.e. me! Noland was so excited, and he accidentally dropped the phone, and began to run around our house. Of course he wanted to go right then to the hospital, but my dad told him that he could not, because my mom and I were not ready for that yet. My aunt and uncle were also trilled to hear the news, and told the rest of our family.
The really interesting thing about me when I was a baby was my hair color. Some how, for some unknown reason (even the doctors don’t know what happened) my hair is naturally blue. That’s how the nick-name Blue got stuck to me. As for my REAL name, well, only my family and my best friend know that! Even now, when people ask what my name is, I simply say “Blue”. But the best part is the look on their face when I tell them about my natural hair color, priceless.
Anyway, back to the story. So me and my older brother, Noland, got along great. We would always play with our parents Pokemon, or go into town and head to Erica’s gym to see if any trainers were battling there that day.
The most fun we had was when we were with our best friends, Lucy and Ally. They were sisters, and they were (coincidently) the same age apart as Noland and I. Lucy, the older of the two, had long black hair, and eyes that always seemed to be focused, but see was really nice! Ally, the younger sister, had the same black hair (must have run in the family), and we quickly became the best of friends. We loved going to the Celadon Department Store and looking at the tons of stuff they had their. This one time, I think we even tried to capture a Pokemon without a Pokeball. Those were the good old times.
One of the biggest turning points of all of our lives was when Noland and Lucy were out on their Pokemon journey (they went together). My parents were lucky enough to win a trip on the S.S. Tidal that had come into Vermillion Port from Hoenn. Since they had four tickets, and didn’t plan to take me or Noland with them, they took Ally and Lucy’s parents (with whom that had become good friends through us) and were planning on going on a cruise together. Well, that’s how it all took a turn for the worst. Ok, so on their way there, they got into a terrible car accident, none of them survived.
I had to call Noland on his Pokegear, and I told him the news. They both rushed home immediately, and both of our families got together to arrange the funeral. That is probably my worst memory ever, I had just turned nine, (Noland was fourteen) and both of my parents were dead.
Once the funeral was said and done, Noland and Lucy went back out on their journey, staying there would be too hard for them. Since most of my family lived in Hoenn, and none of them wanted to move their entire family over to Kanto, I ended up living by myself. Ally didn’t live that far away from me, so we grew even closer and became like sisters. Every once in a while Noland and Lucy would come into town for a visit, which made it feel more like they were a part of our family.
During the few years Ally and I lived on our own, we met a new, good friend, Adam. Again, somehow, Adam was the same age as Ally and I. He moved into Celadon from Lavender Town, so he wasn’t that used to a city of Celadon’s size. We made fun of him for that a few times, but it was all in good fun. Our small family kept growing!
Even though we were over ten years old, we all were going to get Pokemon of our own from Pallet town soon, (we were all fifteen, soon to be sixteen by that time). Noland and Lucy had both landed great jobs, having to do with Pokemon, so Ally and I had a lot of expectations set ahead for us. Once we had the date set (a few months in advanced) we all could not wait for our turn to go out into the world, and catch Pokemon.

Chapter 1
After coming home from a long day of celebrating and parties, Blue opened the door exhausted. She, along with her best friends Ally and Adam, had been out all day celebrating what was going to happen tomorrow; they were getting their first Pokemon.
“What a day!” Blue sighed as she plopped down on the couch. “I can’t wait for tomorrow, I’ll finally be getting my first Pokemon. But now, I should be getting ready to sleep, I can barely keep my eyes open.”
Blue made her way slowly to the bathroom, took her bandana off, and began to brush her hair. It had been really winding in Celadon today, so her hair was a mess. After a few minutes of brushing, she turned the water on, and got out her tooth brush.
Right after she started to brush her teeth, her Pokegear rang, someone was calling her. She quickly spit out the tooth paste she had in her mouth, and ran over to her Pokegear.
“Hello?”
“Hey Blue! It’s me, Ally!” her best friend’s voice rang from the Pokegear.
“What do you want? I was brushing my teeth!” Blue grumbled.
“But I have something to tell you! Turn on your TV!”
Blue went over to the arm of the couch and picked up the clicker. Once she pressed the power button, she saw her brother on TV; he was in the middle of a battle.
“Hmpf.” Blue sighed as she sat down on the couch. “Noland thinks he’s so cool, being the Factory Head at the Battle Factory. He always shows off whenever he is in a broadcasted battle.”
“He must have one big head then!” Ally laughed through the Pokegear.
“Lucy is so much cooler about it. She acts all calm and collected in every battle, not just those on TV.”
“Look at the guy he is battling.” Ally said, holding back a laugh. “Who would use all Bug type Pokemon?”
All of a sudden, Blue’s Pokegear beeped. She looked at it, and saw that Adam was trying to call him.
“Sheesh! I spend ALL DAY with you guys, and then you both keep calling me! I’ll put you on three-way.” Blue groaned, clicking a button.
“Hey Blue! Are you watching your brother?” Adam said.
“Yes, Ally beat you to it.” Blue replied.
“Hey Adam!” Ally snickered.
“Do you ever go an hour without talking to each other?”
“When we sleep maybe, but I don’t really know.” Blue thought out loud.
“I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight, I’m just too excited!” Ally shouted.
“I don’t know how I’ll be able to sleep, since I can’t even brush my teeth!”
“Let it go Blue.” Ally sneered.
All of a sudden, another voice blared from the Pokegear.
“ADAM! GO TO BED NOW! BLUE, ALLY, I KNOW YOU ARE ON THE POKEGEAR TOO! GO TO SLEEP ALL OF YOU!” Adam’s mom shouted.
“Yeah Mom, I’m going to bed. See you both tomorrow.” Adam said, and then hung up.
“Now we can talk all night since…” Ally was cut off. Blue hung up her Pokegear, turned it off, and then began brushing her teeth again. She had forgotten the TV was on, and then a loud cheer can from behind her, and see knocked over the tooth paste and a cup of water.
After she cleaned up her mess, and finished getting ready for bed, she went around the house and made sure that everything was alright. Since she was the only one living in it, she had to check the house out before she went to bed every night; making sure that nothing that didn’t have to be on was off, and that all of the lights and stuff were turned off.
“Finally, I’ll be getting my first Pokemon tomorrow, and I will be traveling on the road with my two best friends. Can it get any better?” Blue yawned as she went up stairs to go to bed. “I know that I am going to get a good sleep tonight, no matter how excited I am.” And with that, she was fast asleep.
About the same time, in some far off place, someone was planning something. In a darkened room lit only by a fireplace and a strange glowing purple crystal, a man was plotting.
“That man!” the figure shouted at the crystal, as if talking to it. “I can’t believe that he is getting the better of me for everything! But that is going to change tonight. I heard that he was a relative that is getting their first Pokemon tomorrow, and we are going to make sure that they don’t! Now here’s the plan…” The man whispered to the crystal, and once he had finished giving it the instructions for their plan, it began to glow ever more and then the light disappeared from it. With that, the man left the room after putting out the fire.

Chapter 2
The next morning, Blue was woken up to her alarm clock going off. She rolled over onto her stomach, and slid under her pillow to muffle the noise. The annoying beeping won and she reached her arm out to find her clock to turn off the noise. All she felt was her bed, not her table that had the clock on it. Her eyes shot open, and she tried to lift herself up to see what was going on, but she couldn’t get up because there was something heavy on top of her.
When she realized that it was her pillow, she freaked out. Blue tried to squirm her way out from under her pillow, but only succeed in getting tangled in her sheets. After freeing herself from the doom that was her bed, she was face to face with the mirror across from her bed. She could not believe her eyes, she was a Pikachu!
“What the….?” Blue gasped, as she tried to get closer to the mirror, totally forgetting that she was on her bed and that the alarm clock was still going off. She tripped over her sheets, and ended up in a tangled ball of sheets dangling off the side of her bed.
Blue was in shock as she got back on her bed, and nearly risked her life turning off the alarm. Then she made her way over to the mirror to examine herself. It was not a dream, she was really a Pikachu.
“What am I going to tell Ally and Adam?” She thought, sitting on her desk. She then heard the front door open, and voices from down stairs.
“Blue? Are you up yet? It’s us! Aunt Pam and Uncle Tom!” a woman’s voice shouted from down stairs. All they heard back was a loud “PIKA?!” from somewhere up stairs.
“I totally forgot that they were coming over! What am I going to do! Especially them, they HATE Pokemon!” Blue groaned, lying down on top of the desk.
“Blue? What was that sound? Are you up here?” her aunt said as she opened the door to her room. “EEP! A MOUSE! A FILTHY MOUSE! TOM, GET IN HERE!”
Blue jumped off of the desk, and dove under her bed as her Uncle Tom came into the room carrying a broom. “Where is it Hunny? I’ll get it with this!”
“It ran under the bed! Hurry, it’s so disgusting!” her Aunt Pam shrieked as her husband crept over to the bed.
“Looks like it’s time for me to go!” Blue said as she ran out from under the bed, right between her uncle’s legs. Her aunt jumped up onto the chair by Blue’s desk as Blue ran out of the door, and down into the living room.
“Does Blue know she has this rodent living here? And where IS that girl?” her Aunt Pam said, trying to calm herself, as she got down from the chair.
“Didn’t she say that she was going to start some kind of journey today?” Uncle Tom said, turning towards his wife.
“Yes I remember that, but why would she leave so early?”
----------------------------------
Down in the living room, Blue was hiding behind the TV when her aunt and uncle came down the stairs. She didn’t know how long they were staying, and she didn’t know what she was going to do till they were gone.
“We might as well make some breakfast; we haven’t eaten anything yet today.” Her aunt said as they walked into the kitchen.
Right then, Blue stomach growled, and Uncle Tom turned around. He started walking over to the TV with a wicked grin on his face, but when he looked behind it, nothing was there. Disappointed, he went back into the kitchen to help his wife with breakfast.
“That was too close.” Blue gasped, after she had run from behind the TV into the downstairs bathroom. “How am I going to get food if I am like this? Maybe if they go out, or sleeping or something, I could go into the kitchen and sneak some food before I starve.” So she planned to wait till they left the room, or something.
----------------------------------
After two hours of hiding in the bathroom, Blue finally heard something that made her perk up.
“I heard that this town, Celadon, has a HUGE department store. We should go and see what they have there.” Blue’s aunt said while they were watching TV.
“That’s a good idea.” Her uncle said. “We could also take a look around the rest of the city. I have also heard that there is a superb casino here as well.”
“Let’s go now! I am so excited!” Blue’s aunt said jumping up off the couch.
“Ok, just let me get my coat and we’re gone!”
Blue waited patiently until she heard her relative’s car drive away down the street.
“YES! FINALLY! I CAN EAT NOW!” Blue yelled jumping into the air. She wasted no time rushing over to the fridge, and after her struggle to open it, she searched through it for something she wanted to eat.
“Let’s see here…” She mumbled to herself. “Ah! Some left over pizza. That will work!” She grabbed three left over pieces, but then she wondered how she would heat them up. The microwave was too high for her to reach, but then she had an idea.
“I’m a Pikachu, that means that I should be able to use some kind of electrical attack right?” she thought out loud as she got ready. “Now, just how am I going to do this?” She had no idea how normal Pokemon used their attacks, so she just had to wing it.
Blue started with closing her eyes and focusing. She looked inside of herself, and found a kind of energy that she had never felt before. She then focused the power, and felt it begin to build up. Then, it began to build up so much that she needed to find a way to get it out. She then focused on releasing the energy onto the pizza slices, which she did. There was so much energy, that she burnt a piece to a crisp, and half of another, but the rest was perfect!
“I am going to have to work on that, but now I get to eat!” Blue cheered as she bit into the half of the pizza that wasn’t burnt.

Chapter 3
Blue’s aunt and uncle came back late that night, and Blue was already in hiding, and sound asleep. Early that morning, around 3 am, Blue awoke to her empty stomach. She had not eaten anything after her “lunch” earlier, because she did not want her aunt and uncle to get suspicious about all the missing food right from the fridge.
“Seems like a good time more than ever to sneak some food!” Blue yawned as she left the downstairs bathroom (her new base of operations) and began to sneak to the kitchen. Down on her stomach, she slowly inched her way across the living room, her tail sticking strait up in the air. “I can’t believe that I am sneaking around my own home! I feel like I’m hunting something.” Blue sighed as she passed the end of the couch.
A creak came from the stairs, and Blue froze. Swiftly, she dashed under the end table at on the side of the couch. After waiting in hiding for a few seconds, she realized it was nothing, and continued on her “mission”.
Upon reaching the kitchen door, she darted onto the tile, and put her back up against the wall. From there, she began to sidle along the wall to the fridge.
“What is this, Mission Impossible?” Blue laughed quietly as she sneaked around the room. When she made it to the refrigerator, she tried to open the door. Once she got it loose, it let out a loud “CREEAK” that echoed through out the silent house. After the creak, she heard someone moving upstairs, and she knew that she had to hurry. She grabbed the first thing in front of her, closed the door, and bolted over to the bathroom.
“Is someone down here? Show yourself now!” Uncle Tom shouted from the bottom of the stairs. He slowly moved the beam of light from his flashlight around the room. Once he was convinced that no one was there, he made his way back up the stairs.
Right inside the bathroom door, Blue let out a deep sigh of relief, and looked at the food she had gotten. She had grabbed a single apple, so that was going to last her till tomorrow.
“I don’t know how long I am going to be able to keep this up.” Blue sighed, biting into the apple. “Sometime I should try to sneak out while they are looking, so they know that the ‘dirty mouse’ is out of the house. But how am I going to pull that off?” After she took the last bite, she fell asleep.
--------------------------------
A week later, Blue was still hiding out in the down stairs bathroom. For that entire week, she had been secretly sneaking food, and staying out of sight from her own family!
“This is it! I have had it being a prisoner in my own house! Today is the day that I escape!” Blue said that morning when she woke up. Despite living in her bathroom for seven days, she had managed to keep it clean.
So, that morning during breakfast, Blue strolled out of the bathroom and hid behind the couch, out of her aunt and uncle’s sight for the moment.
“Now, how am I going to do this?” Blue whispered. “You’d think after having a week to think about it I would have a plan, but staying out of sight was more important.”
She glanced over at the door, and noticed that it was open, and just the screen door was blocking her way to freedom. Blue then waited for both of them to be seated at the table to start her way over there. Uses the techniques she had now honed, she made her way undetected right under where they were sitting.
“Time to get this show on the road!” Blue whispered, as she poked her aunt in the leg.
“Tom! Stop it! Not at the table!” her aunt said, blushing.
“Stop what? I didn’t do anything.” Her husband replied.
“Then what did...AAAHHHH! ITS THAT DIRTY MOUSE AGAIN!” Aunt Pam shrieked when she looked under the table.
Blue dashed from under the table with Uncle Tom on her tail. She made a sharp turn in front of the couch which caught him off guard and gave her a clean shot at the front door.
“All I have to do is jump through the screen, and I’m home free!” Blue cheered as she began to leap. She smacked right into the screen, with out breaking it, but opened the door by force. A little dizzy, she bolted out the front door, and right off the porch, and made her way to Celadon.

Chapter 4
Once she left the porch, Blue did not stop running, or look back at the house. After spending a week as a prisoner in her own home, she was in no hurry to see how her aunt and uncle reacted to her escape. Upon her reaching the city limits of Celadon, she flopped down on the ground, and just smiled.
“Finally, I’m free!” she screamed to the sky, which made a few Pokemon come out of the near by forest and just stare at her. Just then, a Spearow fluttered down next to her.
“Um…free from what, Pikachu?” it asked, tilting its head to the side.
“I was being held prisoner by these two humans in a house for a week, and I finally was able to get away. And by the way, my name is Blue.” She replied with a smile, sticking out her paw.
“Blue?” the Spearow was confused. “What kind of name is that for a Pikachu? But that’s none of my business, the name is Cloud.” He shook her paw with his wing. “If you will excuse me, I must be on my way.”
“Bye Cloud!” Blue said waving as the Spearow flew off. “Now, on to Celadon city!”
When she was in Celadon, she didn’t know where to go next. Ok, so she had gotten away from her home, but now what? She hadn’t thought that far ahead, so she needed to find somewhere to think out the next portion of her operation.
“Hmmm…..what to do now?” Blue thought out loud as she was walking down one of the streets. “I could just wait around here until I see either Ally or Adam, but how would I be able to talk to them? Uggg! Being a Pokemon can be so frustrating!”
Right then, she bumped into another Pokemon. It was much bigger than her, so she was knocked to the ground, while it was still standing.
“Are you ok?” the Pokemon asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Blue said, looking at who she had bumped into. It was a Wartortle, and a strong looking one at that. It was standing next to a boy, so she was guess that he was its trainer.
“I don’t think I have seen you around here. Names Hydro and this is my trainer, Adam.”
“THAT’S ADAM?!” Blue near screamed at the top of her lungs, making him turn around.
“Yeah, do you know him?” Hydro asked.
“Yeah! He is one of my best friends!”
“But you are a Pikachu…” Hydro said, looking at Blue strangely.
“But I haven’t always been! At least, I wasn’t a week ago. I don’t know how it happened, but I got turned into a Pikachu the night before I was going to get my first Pokemon with Adam and our other friend Ally.”
“Wait, is your name Blue by any chance?”
“Yes! At least, that is what everyone calls me! As a human, I have naturally blue hair.”
Hydro nudged Adam, and pointed at Blue. “This is Blue! You know, your friend who you couldn’t find any where! She’s right here!”
“What do you want with that Pikachu, Hydro?” Adam asked. He was trying to talk to this other trainer who had been passing by. “Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something?”
Hydro sighed. “I thought that maybe he would be able to pick up some of the importance, but I guess he was as oblivious as ever. Humans can be so hard to work with.”
“Tell me about it. For the past week I have been shut up in my house with my aunt and uncle who hate Pokemon. You can guess how much fun that would be.”
Hydro laughed. “So, have you gotten used to your new powers yet? Since you weren’t born a Pokemon, they probably don’t come naturally.”
“Well, I did use them once, but I couldn’t really control them.”
“Then this is your lucky day!” Hydro exclaimed, beaming. “You get to have a mock battle with me so you can get used to your powers!”
“Ok, let’s see if I am any good at this.”
They stepped into the alley that was close to where they had been talking, and stood a foot or two apart.
“By now, I’m guessing that you have gotten used to your new form, but first we are going to do a little dodging practice. I am going to switch from bubble beam to water gun a few times, and you have to dodge my attacks the best you can. Is that ok?”
“That’s great! Let’s get started.”
Hydro opened his mouth, and bubbles shot out of it very fast. When they were getting closer to her, Blue jumped to the side, and on top of a near by trash can. Almost a split second later, a stream of water was blasting towards her. She was caught off guard, but avoided the attack by falling off of the trash can.
After a few more minutes of dodge training, the entire alley was soaked.
“Great! Good job!” Hydro said, walking over to Blue who had collapsed on the ground, panting.
“So now are we going to move onto attacks?” Blue panted, getting up off of the ground.
“Yep! Now it’s your turn to hit me!”
Hydro took a few steps back, and started instructing her again.
“Ok, first we are going to start off simple with a Quick Attack. You have to focus on your speed, and get yourself moving faster than you could normally. It’s not that hard if you can grasp the concept.”
Blue began to focus. She thought of speeding down the alley, and hitting Hydro. After concentrating on speeding, she felt like there was a new kind of power in her. So she got down on all fours, and pushed off. She was moving incredibly fast, and the next thing she knew, she had knocked over Hydro.
“Wow! That was some Quick Attack for your first time. I think you have gotten that down. Next we will do a Thunder Shock.”
“I have tried that before! But it didn’t turn out so good.”
“Well, this time it will be great! You just have to focus on your electricity inside of you. Then aim it on where you want it to go, and then fire!”
This time, when Blue focused, the energy almost came immediately! Within seconds, she was able to launch a bolt of thunder at Hydro, and send him out of the alley.
“Amazing! You must have been able to do it faster this time because you had already found the power.”
“That was so cool!” Blue said, beaming. “Thank you so much Hydro.
Just then, Adam started to turn around. “Hydro, it’s time to get going.” When he looked at how beat up Hydro had gotten, he glared at Blue. “What did you do to my Pokemon you electric rat?” Hydro tried to motion to him that it was ok, but he wasn’t paying attention.
“Get out of here!” Adam yelled at Blue.
“Bye Hydro.” Blue said as she run off down the alley and behind the next building.
“Bye Blue.” Hydro said with a feint wave. “I hope we will see each other again sometime!”

Chapter 5
After she ran a good way down the alley, Blue turned a corner and stopped to catch her breath.
“What is it with people calling me a ‘filthy rat’? I mean, I’m not THAT dirty!” Blue scoffed as she walked down the alley. Up ahead, Blue caught sight of the Department Store, the largest store in all of Kanto. “I wonder if they let Pokemon in.” Blue thought out loud.
She was planning to just keep walking behind the Department Store, when something around the corner caught her eye. It was her best friend Ally standing next to an Ivysaur. Blue’s eyes perked up, and she began to run down the alley to her friend.
This time, she was greeted differently that before. “AHHH!!! WHAT A CUTE PIKACHU!” Ally shrieked, and she picked up Blue and almost squeezed the life out of her. “Wow, I never heard of any Pikachu being in Celadon, have you Vine?” she said, turning to her Ivysaur, which shook its head no.
Blue squirmed her way out of Ally’s “hug” and started to tell her everything. The only problem was, Ally couldn’t understand her. “You sure are a talkative little cutie, aren’t you?” Ally said with a smile.
Blue sighed. There was no way she could tell her friend that she was turned into a Pikachu. Then, an idea struck her. Blue opened her mouth, but then remembered she wouldn’t understand. First, Blue pointed at Ally, then at herself. Blue moved her one paw so that it looked like she was writing something on top of her other paw.
Amazingly, Ally understood. “Do you want me to get something for you to write on?” she asked. Blue excitedly nodded. Ally bent down, whispered something to Vine, who nodded, and she went off into the Department Store.
Vine walked over to Blue. “Ok, don’t try anything funny!” he growled at her. “I’m not the kind of Pokemon you want to meet in a dark alley.”
“Umm…we DID meet in a dark alley.” Blue pointed out.
“Oh, yeah, well, I guess you are right. But I’m not going to take anything from you!”
As an Ivysaur, Vine was a good two feet taller than Blue, which was intimidating, but he was acting tougher than he really was.
“Just a question,” Blue began. “Has Ally ever mentioned anyone by the name of Blue to you?”
“Yes, she talks about her all the time. Mostly wondering where she is, and why she didn’t come with her and Adam to get their first Pokemon. Why do you ask, and how do you know my trainer’s name?” Vine asked, giving Blue a suspicious look.
“Because I AM Blue! The night before we were going to get our first Pokemon, some how I was turned into a Pikachu! I had to hide out in my house for a week from my aunt and uncle who came to visit me, and I finally escaped their today!”
“What?! That’s insane! Who ever heard of a person turning into a Pokemon?” Vine laughed.
“It’s true! How else would I know Ally’s name?”
“You do have a point there…” Vine trailed off as Ally came back with a few packs of mail from the Department Store.
“They wouldn’t give me just some plain paper, but this will do, right?” She asked, setting the paper in front of Blue. Blue nodded and picked up the pen and paper Ally had brought and began to write.
“Can you write Vine?” Ally said, asking her Pokemon. He gave a nasty look at Blue, and then shook his head. “I wonder how this Pikachu can write.” She asked herself.
Once Blue had finished, she stood up and showed the paper to Ally. It read: ‘Ally! It’s me, Blue!’ in really big letters.
Ally began to laugh. “I see what this is now! You are Blue’s Pikachu, right? She must have taught you to write, and then to come and find me. That must mean she is here in Celadon somewhere!”
Blue hastily wrote more, and then showed it to Ally again. ‘What?! It really is me! I was turned into a Pikachu!’
“Blue went through so much trouble to teach you didn’t she? That is so cute! Maybe I will teach Vine to….what are you doing?” Ally was interrupted by banging. The Pikachu had dropped the pen and paper and was banging its head against the wall.
Once Blue stopped banging her head, she glared at Ally, and then began to write again. This time, it took her a few minutes to write out everything, but once she did, she showed Ally again.
‘Ok, I’ll prove it to you! Remember that one time, in Vermillion…..” Blue had written out Ally’s biggest secret that only Ally and herself knew about. Vine just stared blankly at the paper, since he couldn’t read; but Ally gasped.
“There is no way that Blue would tell any one that! Not even her own Pokemon. Wait, do you know about what happened that one summer in Sinnoh?” Blue gave an evil smirk, and was about to get writing again. “Can you really be Blue? How could that happen?” Ally said, just before Blue was about to right about what happened in Sinnoh.
‘I don’t know either.’ She wrote. ‘But this is how I am right now….’
“I was wondering where you had gone too. But now I am glad that I found you again!” Ally said, hugging Blue again. This time, the hug was not a death trap, so Blue could breathe.
“Well, now that I found you, I gotta tell you something!”
Blue thingyed her head, as if asking “what?”
“There have been supposed sightings of Jirachi in the mountains just north of Cycling Road, and I thought it would be fun if we found out if they were true or not together.”
Blue smiled, which Ally took as “What are we waiting for?” Blue hopped down onto the ground, and walked with Ally and Vine over to the mountains, which were just outside of Celadon, to see if Jirachi was really there.

Chapter 6
They were about to leave Celadon, when all three of their stomachs growled at the same time. Laughing, all of them went to find some place to eat at.
“This should be a good place!” Ally said, in front of a restaurant that was near the entrance to Route 16.
Blue glared at her, and then began to write on the paper she had left.
“You have got to be kidding me! I mean, look at this place!” The walls of the building showed signs of time, and neglect. The ‘OPEN’ sign was falling off the door, and you could not see what the name of the restaurant was.
Vine looked at Ally with a pleading look, and she sighed. “Fine, seeing as I have been out voted, where to YOU want eat?”
It was a bit of a walk, but they came to Blue and Ally’s favorite restaurant. They used to go there all the time, so Blue knew exactly how to get there from any point in the city. When they got inside, Ally began to look around for a table, when she spotted Adam sitting on the other side of the room. He waved at her to come over, so she led the way there.
When Adam saw Blue, he shot up. “That is the Pikachu that beat up Hydro! What is it doing with you?”
Ally looked over to Blue for help, but she was not looking her way. So, she had to improvise.
“This is…um…this is…Blue’s Pikachu! Yeah! She sent it to me the other day so that it could visit me!” She cast a glance over at Blue, who was talking with Vine and Hydro, but she didn’t know what they were saying.
Adam let the subject drop, sat back down, and asked Ally where she was headed. When Ally was about to answer, the waitress came up and asked them what they wanted to eat. After they had placed their orders, Ally told him they were headed to Route 16.
“That’s right by Cycling Road, isn’t it? Are you planning to check that out?”
“I was thinking about it, but I would have to rent a bike.”
They talked for a long time, and then they realized that their food had never come. Adam called for Hydro (who was sitting at the table next to them with Blue and Vine) and went over to the counter. Blue looked over at Ally, and slid a napkin over to her table.
‘What’s going on?’ was written on the napkin.
“They haven’t brought our food yet, so Adam was going to check out what was wrong.”
All of a sudden, shouting came from over by the counter, and all of them spun around in their chairs (Blue was almost flung from her chair since she spun it so fast), and looked over at Adam, who was yelling at the cashier.
“I am going to have to ask you to leave!” the lady behind the counter said sternly.
Ally rushed over to the counter with Blue and Vine at her heals. “What’s going on?”
“I’ll tell you what’s going on!” Adam sneered. “She said that they don’t serve Pokemon trainers here!”
“WHAT?!” Ally shouted, slamming her hands on the counter. “I have eaten here hundreds of times before!”
“I’m sorry, management rules.” The clerk said with a wicked grin. “I advise you leave before I call the police.”
Ally grabbed Adam’s arm, and they both walked out of the restaurant, and slammed the door, sending the ‘OPEN’ sign flying across the room. A sign on the outside of the building caught Blue’s attention. She nudged Vine, pointed at the sign, and told him what it said. He then tapped Ally on the shoulder with his vine whip, and pointed at the sign.
It said: ‘NOW UNDER NEW MANEGMENT! NO POKEMON ALLOWED!!’
They walked around Celadon for a little longer, found another restaurant, ate lunch, and then went on their way.
“I still can’t believe that woman!” Ally growled as they headed towards Route 16.

Chapter 7
After leaving Celadon City, the group reached the hill-like mountains of Route 16. They weren’t small enough to be called “hills” but they weren’t big enough to actually called mountains. There were many caves dotting their sides, and Ally figured that Jirachi must be in one of them if it was actually here.
“Ok Vine, I know you don’t like heights that much, so return.” Ally said, pulling out a Pokeball and sending Vine back inside. “But I do have someone who is perfect for this!” She grabbed another Pokeball, and tossed it a short distance into the air. It opened with a bright white light, and out soared a Pidgey.
The Pidgey landed beside Blue. “Hello, my name is Mirror.” He wasn’t even looking at Blue, but he was gazing fondly into what looked like a small hand mirror that was strung around his neck.
“Don’t mind him, he’s a bit of a narcissist, but he’s a hard worker!” Ally smiled back at Blue, who had shot her a worried look. “Hey Mirror, can you go check out those caves and see if anyone is in them? I would try the biggest first, just to be sure. It’s that one over there.” She pointed to one of the closer caves to them. “If you see anything, just tell Blue here what you saw.”
The Pidgey immediately snapped away from his mirror, and gave what looked like a salute with his wing. “I will do my best!” He spread his wings and flew off. Blue was left looking dazed at his sudden change of attitude.
Ally laughed. “Didn’t I tell you?” She watched her Pidgey as he worked, and began to talk again. “He was the first Pokemon that I caught. There really wasn’t any skill involved; most of it was just luck. But I’m glad that he is on my team now!”
After she had said that, Mirror swooped back down in front of Blue. There was a look of satisfaction gleaming on his face.
“I have found that Jirachi is in that cave. It said it was planning on leaving soon, so you two better get a move on!”
Ally looked over at Blue, who gave a nod, and they set off for the cave.
------------------------------
When the reached the cave, Ally returned Mirror to his Pokeball, and they went inside. The entrance to the cave was small, but as you got farther inside, it gradually grew bigger. When it was big enough for Ally to stand up strait, they noticed that the small hallway like part of the cave opened into what looked like a room a short distance ahead. Emitting from the room was a soft, steady glow of blue light.
Ally and Blue entered the room to see Jirachi floated with its back turned to them on the other side of the cavernous room. As they began to walk closer to it, it slowly turned around to face them, and then smiled at them.
“Welcome,” it said in a soft, kind voice. “Since you found me here, you both get one wish a piece. Now think carefully, even though you get one for free, you should think about everything that might become of it. Wishes are powerful things after all. I will wait for you to finish, just tell me when you are ready.”
One thing kept bobbing into Blue’s thoughts as she thought of what she was going to wish for. ‘Should I try and wish myself back into being a human? But what if Jirachi can’t pull it off? What if it just tells me that it can’t do things like that, and that I don’t get another wish!” Blue decided to wait and see what Ally’s wish was, and then go from there.
Once they were ready, Ally stepped up to Jirachi first. “So, you are going to be the first to make your wish? Have you thought hard about it?”
“Yes I have. It was a hard choice, but I think I am making the right one.” Ally took a deep breath, and for a second, glanced over at Blue. “I wish I was able to understand Pokemon.”
“Very well, now, what is your wish, Blue?”
Blue was shocked that Jirachi knew her name, but she then guessed that Legendaries like it knew these short of things.
“I want my brother Noland, and her sister,” she pointed at Ally, “Lucy to be able to understand Pokemon when we meet up with them.”
Jirachi laughed. “That was a specific wish! But that was good that you thought it out so deeply!” Jirachi began to glow brighter, and then floated over to where they were standing. It placed its hands on them, and smiled again. “Your wishes have now been granted. Now I must take my leave.” With that, Jirachi vanished.
They stood in silence for a while, until Ally smiled softly, and looked over at Blue. “So I’m guessing that you didn’t wish yourself back into a human because of me, did you?”
“I was thinking about it, but I guess I really didn’t want to in the first place. You can kinda have more fun as a Pokemon than you can as a human!”
“AHHH! This is too weird!” Ally groaned.
“What? Aren’t you GLAD that we don’t have to communicate through notes anymore?” Blue glared at Ally.
“No, I AM really, but it’s just going to take some getting used to!”
Blue began to laugh, and they both made their way out of the cave.

Chapter 8
When they got outside of the cave, Ally thought of something.
“Wait a minute, what did YOU wish for?” she asked, turning to Blue.
Blue stuck out her tongue. “It’s a surprise!”
“Aww! Come on! You got to hear what I wished for! Why won’t you tell me what you asked?”
“Oh, don’t worry. You’ll find out soon enough! That is, if we are heading for the Battle Frontier.”
“Well, I DID tell Lucy that I was going to come around their sometime to show her my Pokemon, so I guess we could go there. Then will you tell me your wish?”
“You’re still going to have to find out!” Blue said happily, skipping ahead.
“Hey! We’re still on a mountain type thing! Don’t go falling off a cliff or something!”
Ally looked around. She couldn’t see Blue anywhere.
“Wow! Can you move any slower?” Blue said from the ground, grinning evilly up at Ally.
“How did you get down there so fast?” Ally said, as she began to climb down.
“Being a Pikachu has its advantages!”
---------------------------------
Once Ally had gotten down, they both headed off to Celadon. The only way to get to the Battle Frontier was by water, so they were going to Vermillion City next, since it was a port filled with ships that traveled the seas around the world.
While they walked past the Game Corner, one of Celadon’s biggest attractions which is supposedly run by Team Rocket, they heard a lot of noise coming from inside.
“I wonder what’s going on.” Ally muttered.
“Maybe we just shouldn’t get involved. I mean, it’s none of our business anyway.” Blue said, as she continued to walk.
Before Ally could reply, the doors to the Game Corner burst open. A midnight black Umbreon dashed out of the doors, and ran in their direction. Close behind it were two men in long white coats, who looked almost like doctors.
“Hey, kid!” the first one shouted at Ally. “Give us back that Umbreon! It’s very important!”
Ally looked over that the Umbreon, which was standing right next to Blue. For some reason, it had a grey sweatshirt on, and the rings on its body (which are normally a golden yellow color) were shining bright silver. Blue was talking to the Umbreon, so that meant Ally would have to talk to the men in the coats.
“Why do you need this Umbreon? It obviously doesn’t like you, or what you are doing to it for that matter.”
“What do you know anyway? You’re just a little girl!” the other man shouted. “If you won’t cooperate, then we will call your parents!”
Blue nervously looked up at Ally, but all she did was laugh. “Good luck with that! Seeing as both of my parents are dead!”
The men looked taken back, seeing as how their almost sure fire weapon had be so easily cast aside. The glanced at each other and nodded. Both men took out a Pokeball from inside their coats. While their coats were open, Ally saw a giant red ‘R’ on both of their shirts underneath.
“Fine then! We will just have to take it back by force!” the first man said, as they both threw their Pokeballs.
Ally looked at Blue, who nodded. Ally was about to throw Vine’s Pokeball, when the Umbreon jumped next to Blue, ready to battle.
The Umbreon then turned around and faced her. “I have been told you can understand Pokemon.” It said in a calm voice. “I want to fight these guys! By the way, my name is Polter.”
“Yeah, that’s ok with me.” Ally said, still not used to the fact that she could understand Pokemon. Blue was one thing, but Polter was the first Pokemon that she had heard speak.
Polter and Blue turned around to see an Arcanine and a Houndoom facing them. They were both snarling, and looked like they had been trained to kill.
Both of the men laughed. “Those are your Pokemon?” the second man said between laughs. “This should be a quick fight!”
“Think again!” Blue said, using Thunder Bolt on the Arcanine. To her luck, it had been paralyzed.
“That was a cheep shot!” the first man (who that Arcanine belonged too). “Your Pikachu attacked without you saying anything!”
“Me and my Pikachu are just that connected.” Ally said with a grin.
While both the men were arguing with Ally, Polter used Shadow Ball on the paralyzed Arcanine. Neither of the men seemed to notice. Blue and Polter looked at each other, both thinking the same thing. Then they started to attack the helpless Houndoom along with Arcanine, since they both needed their trainers’ orders to fight back.
After a good five minute fight, both Arcanine and Houndoom where lying on the ground, both had fainted. The two men were in shock, returned their Pokemon, and started to charge at Ally. A police officer (who had come that way to check out what all the noise was) arrested the two Team Rocket men once Ally had told him what had happen.
Once the men were dragged away, Blue and Polter came over to Ally.
“Thanks for that distraction! It was really easy since they didn’t fight back!” Blue said smiling.
“Your welcome! It was the lest I could do.”
“Not quite.” Polter said. “You saved my life from them. They have been experimenting on Pokemon like me in their lab under the Game Corner for a while. Now that their two chief men are in jail, I’m going back in there and saving all the others who are trapped in there.”
“Is there anything we can do to help?” Ally asked.
“Oh, no! You two have done enough! I know you must have plans of your own that you have to get too. It was great meeting you both!” With that Polter ran back into the Game Corner.
Ally and Blue waited a few minutes, and then continued out of Celadon.
“I hope Polter will be ok.” Ally said, once they were on Route 7.
“He’ll be fine! He is a great fighter!”
“I just hope that the other scientist guys don’t hurt or kill him once he goes back to the lab.”
“I don’t think Polter would let them!” Blue said with a smile.
And then they entered Saffron City.

Chapter 9
When they entered Saffron City, Ally and Blue came face to face with two men wearing all black uniforms with a red “R” on their shirts.
“I’m sorry little girl, but no one is allowed in the city right now.” One of the men said, stepping in front of her.
“Can I ask why?” Ally said, taking a step back.
“Well….” The other man started. “…the city is going through some technical difficulties. We have even advised the residents to stay in their homes.”
“Yeah right, more like that Team Rocket is up to something and they don’t want anyone getting in their way…” Blue whispered.
“Well, I am heading to Vermillion City, how am I supposed to get there if I can’t go through Saffron?”
“You will have to go around the city. It is for your own personal safety after all.” The first man said.
Ally sighed. “Come on Blue, I guess we are going to have to take the long way around.” The two turned around and began to walk back to Route 7.
“Sheesh! What was that about?” Ally groaned as they began to make their way around the biggest city in Kanto.
“Team Rocket is probably using Saffron as their headquarters or something. The more people they can keep out, the better they will be able to hide what they are doing.” Blue said matter of factly.
“Well, whatever. Now it’s going to take us even longer to get to the Battle Frontier!”
The only way around Saffron was going through a pretty thick forest that bordered it and Route 6. Not many people went that way, since it was said to be filled with very aggressive Pokemon that didn’t like people that much, so they left it alone. A lot of the trees were close together, with their leaves blocking the sunlight from reaching the ground, making it very hard to see where you were going.
“It’s like its night in here!” Ally said as they made their way under the trees. “How can any Pokemon that live here see where they are going?”
“Maybe they are Ghost types! Or they can see in the dark!” Blue said excitedly, jumping onto Ally’s shoulder, which made her scream.
“Get it off! GET IT OFF!” Ally scream as she waved her arms in the air, which knocked Blue to the ground.
“Ow…It was ME!” Blue yelled, getting up out of the dirt.
“Oh, sorry,” Ally said with a weak smile. “You know that I don’t like Ghost Pokemon!”
“And why not?” a voice from behind them asked. They both turned around to see a Haunter floating a few feet away.
Ally screamed. “GHOST!!! IT’S A GHOST!!!” and she tried to run away, but ended up running almost head first into a near by tree.
“Don’t mind her.” Blue sighed.
“What are you two doing in this forest?” the Haunter asked.
“We just need to get to Route 6.” Blue replied. “And since Team Rocket is keeping anyone from coming in Saffron City, this was our only choice.”
“You will never find your way out of here just by yourselves. I doubt you can see any farther than those trees over there.” Haunter pointed to a few trees about four feet away.
“Well, I can see a little better than her.” Blue said, nodding at Ally, who was sitting against the tree, holding her head.
“True, but I guess I will have to help you get out of here.” Haunter said, as if it was a burden.
“Thanks that would really help.”
“I’m sure it would. But if the other Ghost Pokemon find you here, then they will let me have it, since I am supposed to be keeping trespassers out.”
“Oh, so you are only doing this to save yourself?” The Haunter nodded, and Blue shrugged. “Oh well, I guess if that is going to motivate you to help us, lead the way!”
------------------------------
After they had walked for around half an hour, they began to see a feint light far in the distance. The whole time they had walked, it was eerily quite all around them; all they could hear was the sound of their own footsteps. Haunter kept looking around, expecting another Ghost Pokemon to immerge from the shadows at any moment, but to his relief, they didn’t see any.
“We are almost there.” He said, turning around to see Ally and Blue.
Blue had to walk in-between Haunter and Ally, since she was too scared to get too close to the Ghost.
Ally gave a sigh of relief. “I can’t wait to get out in the daylight again!”
“Well, you are going to have to wait till tomorrow for that, the sun is setting.” Haunter said, looking in the distance.
The light they had seen was fading, but even so, it seemed a lot brighter out there than in the forest.
“Do you know about how much longer we will be in here?” Blue asked the Haunter as they kept on walking.
“Not much if we hurry. I want to make sure you get out of here soon, before anyone else sees.”
Blue sighed, and started to walk faster. All that Haunter cared about was himself!
When they finally reached the edge of the forest, Blue and Ally ran out into the moonlit Route 6. They turned around to thank the Haunter, no matter how selfish he had been, but he had disappeared back into the trees.
“Good riddance I say!” Ally said when they saw he wasn’t there any more. “He was so conceded!”
“Enough about him, we should focus on getting to Vermillion city, and finding some where to spend the night.”
“Yeah, and then we can get our boat tickets and head to the Battle Frontier!”

Chapter 10
Vermillion City, the biggest port city in all of Kanto. Its large harbor is matched with those in Lilycove, Olivine, and Sunnyshore. It has been made legendary for its vast numbers of luxury cruise ships that are docked normally in its bay. The city also houses an Indigo League Gym, whose Gym Leader is Lt. Surge. (Meh, enough about the city! Back to the story! XD)
------------------------------
Being summer time, Ally and Blue came to Vermillion to find it backed with tourists; either waiting for their ships to depart, or just arriving from some far-off land. Being a renowned port city, Vermillion was filled with hotels and resorts.
“Sheesh! This place is packed with people!” Blue sighed as they tried to make their way across a crowed street. “I bet the Battle Frontier will be even more packed once we get there.”
“You are probably right. People visiting friends or family there who are competing at one of the facilities, or people just on vacation, itching to see a match.” Ally replied, narrowly dodging the waves of on coming tourists.
Before going on a search for a place to stay, Ally and Blue tried to find a place to eat, since neither of them had eaten much that day. Since it was around twilight, there were a lot of people out and about, looking for a good meal. They finally found a small restaurant (far off the beaten path) and they were able to sit down and eat.
“Let’s just hope this place serves Pokemon trainers, unlike that one in Celadon.” Blue sighed as they sat at a small booth. A friendly waitress smiled at them as she handed Ally a menu and then glided off to the kitchen.
“Everything on this menu seems good! But it’s probably because I am so hungry!” Ally said as she scanned the menu. “Do you know about what you would like?”
“I don’t know if I really want anything to eat. Maybe just something to drink, but do you think they would even give food to a Pokemon?”
“Well they should, you would be considered a customer then, and the customer is always right, aren’t they?”
------------------------------
After eating their food, Blue and Ally set out to find some place to sleep for the night so that they could catch the next ship to the Battle Frontier in the morning. It seemed like every place they visited, it was either one of two things: 1. the place was full to the brim; or 2. they didn’t allow Pokemon out of their Pokeballs in the rooms. The only other place they could even look was the Pokemon Center, and to their good fortune, they were fairly vacant.
“Thank you so much Nurse Joy.” Ally said as they were lead to their room. “We have been looking for a place to sleep for about an hour, and everywhere seemed to be full.”
“Vermillion does have a very big tourist industry, especially in the summer. That is why us here that the Pokemon Center try to let only Pokemon Trainers spend the night here, since it would be very hard for them to find a hotel or something.” The head nurse of the Center replied with a smile. “If you need anything, just ask me or one of the Chansey. Good night.” With a bow, she left them in the room.
Blue jumped onto one of the beds and sighed. “Pokemon Centers, you gotta love them!”
“I know what you mean.” Ally said, joining her on the other bed. “I can’t wait to get onto the first boat out of here to the Frontier!”
“I am just glad I will be able to sleep in a bed tonight! That whole week while I was trapped in my house by my aunt and uncle, I had to pretty much live in that bathroom. Do you know how uncomfortable title is to sleep on?”
“I can imagine, but we should get some sleep for now, we have a long trip in for us tomorrow.”
“Yeah, you’re right. I can’t wait to go on that ocean liner! It’s a good thing that our parents were able to get these passes for the boats.” Blue yawned, staring at the ceiling. “We really are lucky; you know how expensive ship tickets can be now.”
“I am thankful too.” Ally paused. “I really miss them.”
Blue glanced over at her. “I do to. It’s been so long, and we have been able to get by all by ourselves. I wonder how different our lives would be if they were still around.”
“They would probably be worrying about us going on a trip to the Battle Frontier all alone. Even though Noland and Lucy are waiting for us there.”
Blue then thought of something and laughed. “I wonder how they would react if they saw me as a Pikachu.” Ally couldn’t help but smile.
There was a long silence, neither of them really wanted to talk about their parents, but yet they wanted to.
Finally, Ally said something. “Now that I think about it, I am kinda nervous about our trip tomorrow. They died when the S.S. Tidal, what if the same happened to us? Noland and Lucy would be all alone.”
Blue rolled onto her side, and looked over at Ally; she was on the verge of tears. “Don’t think like that. Not all ocean liners are bad, and I bet our parents wouldn’t want us thinking like that either.”
Ally wiped her eyes. “Yeah, you’re right.” Ally then glanced over at the clock. “Look at the time! We should really get some sleep if we want to get the first boat! It leaves around 9:30.”
Blue smiled. “Yeah, good night.”

Chapter 11
The next morning, Blue and Ally both woke up very early, and went down into the Pokemon Center’s lunch room for some breakfast. Neither of them said too much over breakfast, because both of them had their late night discussion on their mind.
When they were about to leave the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy said something to them that caught their attention. “I hope you both have a great time at the Battle Frontier!” That got them both out of their gloom about the ride there, and it cheered them up a lot from what they had been over breakfast.
“When is the boat to the Frontier supposed to leave?” Blue asked Ally as they walked down to the wharf.
“Well, the first one leaves in a half an hour, and the rest are all in the afternoon. I think we should get on the first one.” Ally said, glancing up from the ship departure schedule she had picked up from the Pokemon Center.
“Yeah, that way we can get there earlier and see Noland and Lucy!” Blue said cheerfully. “I can’t wait to see my brother again!”
“Even if he won’t recognize you, and he can’t understand you?” Ally pointed out.
“Don’t worry about that, I have a feeling that he will.” Blue said, as if she knew something Ally didn’t.
“What are you talking about?”
“Nothing! Don’t worry though, you will find out soon enough!”
When they reached the wharf, they were glad to see that it wasn’t as crowed as it had been last night, and that there were hardly any tourists up at this hour walking around. Glancing back down at the schedule, Ally saw that their ship was the S.S. Tidal. It was normally in Lilycove City in Hoenn, but it was docking here for the time. It was one of the few ships that normally went to the Battle Frontier.
Passing the main gate of the wharf, Blue and Ally stopped in their tracks. There were so many boats!
“Sheesh! How are we going to find the Tidal in this?” Blue yelled in shock. “It will probably take us more than a half an hour to find the right one!”
Ally sighed. “You’re telling me. Well, let’s at least start looking. Maybe there’s a map somewhere.”
Ally was vigorously flipping through the pages of the schedule, when she didn’t realize she was going to walk into someone. She bumped into this guy, who was also searching through what looked like a boat departure schedule, and Blue noticed a couple of Poke Balls around his waist.
“Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!” Ally blurted out. “I wasn’t looking where I was going, and I am going to be late for my ship!” She hadn’t meant to add the ‘and’ but it just kinda slipped out cause she was flustered.
“It’s ok.” The guy said smiling. “What ship are you looking for? Maybe I can help you find it. My name is Matt by the way.”
“Oh, well, my name is Ally, and this is Blue, my Pikachu.” She said, bringing Blue into this whole conversation.
“That is an interesting name for a Pikachu, but it’s cute.” Matt said, bending down and patting Blue on the head.
“This guy is really nice Ally. I’m sure he can help us!” Blue said as he stood up.
“I hope you can help us. We are looking for the S.S. Tidal, the ship that is supposed to leave in half an hour for the Battle Frontier. Do you know where it is?”
“You are going to the Battle Frontier too? What a coincidence! We can walk there together, follow me.” Matt smiled.
In a few short minutes, they arrived at the S.S. Tidal. Ally thanked Matt whole heartedly for helping them find the ship, and he said it was no big deal. They all then walked up onto the ship.
“Wow, this place looks amazing!” Ally said as they entered the main gathering room of the boat. It was a large room, with a large battle field in the center. There were also shops bordering the field along the walls.
“The Tidal is the only ship that has a full sized battle field built in. That’s because it’s the main ship that sails to the Battle Frontier, and normally almost all of its passengers are trainers.” Matt said as they started down the steps.
“Have you been to the Battle Frontier before Matt?” Ally asked when they reached the ground floor.
“I was there once, with my older brother. It was when he challenged the final Frontier Brain he had to defeat, Noland. Personally, Noland is the coolest Brain the Frontier has.”
“You better believe it!” Blue said with pride, as she jumped onto Ally’s shoulder and help up her paw for a high five, which Matt returned.
“You’re Pikachu is something else Ally. It’s like it is almost human!”
“You don’t know the half of it.” Ally sighed with a smile.
“Matt! I finally found you!” a girl’s voice from the top of the stairs shouted down to them. A girl about Ally’s age came hopping down the stairs, and ended up half tackling Matt when she hugged him.
“Uhh, Ally this is Mary.” Matt said, trying to get out of head lock of a hug.
“You said it so plainly! Chatty does it better!” Mary pouted, throwing a Poke Ball into the air. Out popped a Chatot that soared down onto Matt’s head.
“Rawrk! Meet the FABULOS, Mary MARVOLUS and her partner, Chatty the CHATOT. RAWRK!” the Chatot screeched.
“You are so smart Chatty! Yes you are!” Mary said, hugging the Parrot-like Pokemon. She then glared at Ally. “He said your name was Ally, right? What are you doing with my Matty?”
“Well, your Matty was just helping me find this ship! Cause me and my Pikachu here were lost, and he helped us out, that is all.”
Mary continued to glare at her. “I’m going to keep my eye on you little missy.”
“Looks like you got yourself a stalker!” Blue laughed.

Chapter 12
Ally, Blue, Mary, Chatty, and Matt all decided to walk around the main deck of the ship, and check out all of the stuff the luxury cruise ship had to offer. There was a food court like area a short distance away from battle field; with about every kind of food you could want on a ship. There was also a ton of stores with a bunch of things from hats and shirts, to Pokemon!
“Wow, this ship is really amazing!” Ally said, looking around excitedly.
Mary sighed. “It’s embarrassing being seen with you, it’s like this is your first time on a ship like this. You are acting like a little kid.”
“So what if it is my first time on a luxury ship? So what?” Ally and Mary’s faces were so close together as the two glared at each other, it looked like they were going to touch.
Matt attempted to intervene. “Come on Mary, why do you have to be like that? When you act like that, that’s when I find it embarrassing to be seen around you.”
Mary looked like she had just been slapped across the face. “Why are you taking her side? You know me better than you know that…that GIRL.”
“I gotta name you know! Maybe if you weren’t so slow, you could pick up on these things.” Ally snarled back, snapping her figures in front of Mary’s nose.
“So now you are saying that I am inferior to you! I NEVER!” Mary snapped, and turned her back on Ally. “Come on Chatty, we don’t need to hang around riff-raff like this!” And she began to hastily walk away.
“What Beedrill stung HER this morning!” Ally snorted, crossing her arms, and facing away from where Mary just was.
“MATT! Are you coming or not!!” Mary yelled from a few stores down. Not knowing what to do, Matt said he was sorry to Ally and ran over to catch up with Mary.
“He may be nice, but that guy is going to get himself all walked over in a relationship.” Blue sighed, as she leaned against the nearest wall. Ally seemed to angry to say anything regarding either of those guys right then, so Blue decided to change the subject. “Do you want to find our room now?”
“That sounds like a good idea. I think all of the rooms are up one level, but still inside the ship.” Ally’s mood had completely changed, and she was now acting what was “normal” for her.
-----------------------------------
It did not take them long to find their room, since the room number was on the ticket Ally had gotten from the man at the boat’s dock. As was expected, the room was really nice; there were two queen sized beds, the floor was fully carpeted, and the bathroom was extremely shiny!
“If only we could be at sea for more than a day!” Blue said, flopping down on a bed. “I could get used to this.”
“It sure beats the Pokemon Center, I’ll tell you that!” Ally said, lying down on the other bed. “But I would trade being at the Battle Frontier for more days of this, personally.”
“I know what you mean. I can’t wait to see the look on Noland and Lucy’s faces!” Blue laughed.
“You’re not going to tell me your crazy little plan, are you?”
“Nope! You’ll just have to wait till we see them!” Blue said, smiling.
-----------------------------------
They spent a while talking in their room, about nothing really important (or I would have written about it), but after a while they decided to go out and get something for lunch. The boat had left about an hour ago, so they were now out at sea. So, before getting something to eat, they had to go see the ocean.
“It’s so pretty!” Blue exclaimed, gazing from under the bottom most rail.
“Yeah, it kinda makes you forget about every being on land.” Ally said dreamily, gazing off into the distance.
“It really is beautiful, isn’t it?” a voice from behind them said. Upon turning around, they saw it was Matt (who was now Mary free).
“Hey Matt, I just got a good idea. If you haven’t already eaten lunch yet, would you like to come with us?” Ally just kind of blurted out.
“That would be fun, of course I will come. Mary is off shopping right now with Chatty and this other girl she apparently knows, so I’m free for now.”
And so, the three of them walked back down into the ship to find a good place to eat!
(OoOo! The Suspense! ^-^)
