the firered and leafgreen games were so hard because they had higher level pokemon with crazy moves. i kinda hoped they would of brought the sevii islands in heart gold and soul silver from there just to give you even more freedom
hoenn was so nice cause it had a huge ocean where you had the freedom to go where you liked plus all the hidden dive spots you could go to, that was one of my favourite parts of that game

just think how massive the game would have been with the sevii islands. @_@ the map is big enough as it is, but for firered and leafgreen, i think it was good that they had them there. for a while, there was talk that the islands were nintendos response to a gold/silver remake, and that they were going to leave it at that. how tragic that would have been
hoenn is one of my favorite regions. i really like the whole secret base anywhere across the world. that was really fun, i liked it a lot better than the underground, even though the underground was fun in its own respect

they were if you think about it... you cant trade back to the gba from the ds games so thats really the only way to get them in most of the gba games.. plus heart gold and soul silver were a guarantee hit seller that ramped that game so much its just crazy
they both had there good aspects i liked how the bases were weird shapes and different styles depending on the location but i liked how in diamond and pearl that even though its underground you could put it ANYWHERE there was a wall

but you have to admit, it was fun trying to locate your friends secret bases, which could be located anywhere on hoenn. i have quite a few people in bases in my ruby version.

thats what i mean like if you could put them in more areas then just the selected ones and actually be able to customize the size of the rooms and the shapes like having 30 floor panels and rearranging them anyway you like i liked in emerald that you go to battle your friends AND gain experience points cause we used to put like level 80's in there and it would just give you so much experience points just like that

what do you mean only ideas? you did it right? having the trainers actually in their bases, and that they could be accessed any time was a plus over the underground. since the underground was mainly a wireless thing, you couldnt visit your friends bases when they were not. and you couldnt battle them either, it was just capture the flag (which was pretty fun, even though my and koneko cheated sooo bad with that)

what i mean there just ideas... whats the odds of them being on there it would be quite a surprise who didnt cheat on the flags me and my brother put our bases in such a way that it was just in and out and so we wouldnt have to go around each other then just do laps
