Command & Conquer 3 is available on the Xbox 360 and for the PC.
Rather than a first person shooter, third person shooter, tactic, or any other type of game whatsoever, this is a strategy game.
Instead of controlling one character, you have multiple units who you must give commands. However, you don't start out with any number of people, but you have one building--your main base--in which you have to command it to build structures. Buildings can enable you to make new structures depending on what it is.
Once you build a barracks, you will be allowed to train soldiers. You have to know their weaknesses and strong points (I guess). Unlike any other C&C game (that I've played), each soldier you train comes in a pack.
Vehicles are better than infantry, which is obvious. Ordinary tanks are of coarse, strong against buildings and other vehicles. Pitbulls are useful against aircraft. They can help you when you are attacking incase of aircraft stopping your vehicles.
Bashing people's bases is fun and part of the game, which is why this is a strategy game. If you destroy the main base, the player won't be able to build any structures unless if he has another base capable of this same ability.
The story line is you, the GDI, have to stop the bad team called, "The Brother Hood of NOD," who is spreading Tiberium globally. With this toxin traveling everywhere, man-kind cannot live. However, it hasn't completely entered everywhere worldwide. Humans still remain on Earth.
This is only a guess because I have only rented this game and played one level, but another team named Scrin probably enters the story line later on. The reason why I knew they were in the game is because they are in Skirmish. So far, I know that they are a team of aliens. Their bases are hard to tell apart the first time you play it due to how unique it is.
Interestingly, this is one of the rare Xbox 360 games that you can use an Xbox Live Vision Camera. However, you can only unplug the camera in order to disable it from Xbox 360 Live. I don't prefer using it unless if I'm only with my friends 15 years old or younger.
What are your opinions?
