true like i think the battle tower was the most skills type one and that was a major let down but then the rest came and it was quite entertaining

im not sure if its intentional, but they seem to do the more hard-core battle frontiers in the 3rd games. the battle tower first came around in Crystal, then the frontier made its first appearance in emerald, and the again later in platinum.

ya i`m pretty sure its all intentional but... thats the problem... it is good to do new things... but when they do a really great thing like the frontier... and then moved back to the tower there just going back and forth between stage 1 and 2 when they could of made it better in pearl and diamond and made it even better in platinum

i think they just werent focusing on making a better frontier because it was a jump to a new platform, and they didnt wanna over load the game too fast. i mean, just LOOK at all the enhancements that d/p had over r/s. the difference is phenomenal. I think they just wanted to take it one step at a time, which may be the reason for them to always release another game to fit into EACH generation, so that they can expand on the worlds, and maybe add in things that either didnt fit into the first 2 or that they just didnt have the time to put in, or possibly didnt think of until they got some feed back

yep thats true aswell. personally what i think is the worst part is when they have speciall events only for platinum even if they are on pearl or diamond

yeah, thats kinda lame. but you can technically trade them over into d/p, so if you found someone with that pokemon from the event you could still, in theory, get it

ya when you get the card and you check it and it gives you info on what to do to unlock the item or pokemon. you can apparently send it to other games so they can have it to
