I'm just glad that Sega isn't taking the whole werehog thing seriously, as can be told from the cloverfield/blair witch-esque trailer.

NINTENDO MOTIONPLUS [/center] Press Release: "Nintendo's upcoming Wii MotionPlus accessory for the revolutionary Wii Remote controller again redefines game control, by more quickly and accurately reflecting motions in a 3-D space. The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player's arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion. Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play. The Wii MotionPlus accessory reconfirms Nintendo's commitment to making games intuitive and accessible for everyone. Nintendo will reveal more details about the Wii MotionPlus accessory and other topics Tuesday morning at its E3 media briefing." May be the first to say that I am looking forward to this tommorow.

Yes, you can clearly see the port in the photo, it's just, like you said, covered up. So, the thing has it's own jacket, apparently

Animal Crossing: City Folk Gameplay looks great, graphics-wise. The trailer then shows holidays, and then the "City". There is an Auction House, The Giraffe's stylish place, The saloon, where you can get a mask to look like your mii, the actual Happy Room Academy. It is obviously an MMO, and will make use of the new Wii Speak, packaged with the Game, as voicechat

Timeline (Seperate posts about games will be added afterwards)
11:00 : *Lady tries to make jokes, unsuccesfully, tells stories about wiping out on a snowboard, no one cares, tries to make comparison to Wii*
11:10 : Demo of a snowboarding game (with a neat remix of "ring of fire" in the background. With a athletic snowboarder, a game we really don't care about (BRING ON THE First-Party!)
11:12- - YEAH! IWATA!!! He makes a speech about his 5 years running Nintendo, and about how "CASUALS MAKE MUNAY!!!" and that he never thought they could sell millions of "Measuring scales" to the world. (Funny) He talks about the balance between casual and hardcore, comparing NSMB to Nintendogs, and that graphics and specs don't make the system (You tell 'em). And talks about how they planned to break the barrier between casuals and gamers. And about how the other companies are trying to copy the "casual" games (which is true) Here comes a new game...
11:23-28 - ANIMAL CROSSING : CITY FOLK CONFIRMED! New peripheral, Wii Speak confirmed as a wii microphone that will be used for voice chat
11:28- 34- Reggie comes and talks about how succecful, but that they are not close to satisfied. Talks about the market sales, and that by next year, the DS will have sold 100 MILLION UNITS. And how franchises (Pokemon was specifcally named) are responsible for that success. Then, talks about how no system has sold more games in the first 9 months than any other system ever. Third-party games are selling better than ever. Wii library grows faster than any other console
11:35-39 - Trailer for 3 new third-party games: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (which uses the Wiimote+Nunchuck) , Rayman Raving Rabbids TV(Which uses the Balance Board), and Call of Duty 4: World of War (Which uses Wii library).
11:39- - The same lady talks about how girls are now nearly half-and-half with boys for DS sales, with trailers for Guitar Hero: On Tour: Decades, and Spore Creatures (Yeah)
11:43 - Pokemon Rangers: Battonage confirmed the be named Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almnia and will be released in America on November 10
11:44 - HOLY ****!!!!! GRAND THEFT AUTO ON THE DS!!!!!
11:45 - Cooking trainer, will be releasy Holiday 08.
11:46-5 - Reggie starts to talk about the Wii MotionPlus, which makes the remote super sensitive, Wii Sports: Resort confirmed, games include Disk Dog, Jet Ski, Log/pencil cutting, and swordfights, with MotionPlus included in every box. There is a demo and THE RESPONSIVITY IS AMAZING, you all will have to see this youself. Reggie calls himself the Reginator (Awesome). Wii Sports Resort to release Spring 09
11:55-12:07 - New holiday game, a person appears and stars to drum with the remotes (Very well, actual) We are then tol to welcome "Gaming legend Shigeru Miyamoto (YEAH!), who then stars to use the remote to play the saxophone. Miyamoto tried to speak english (pretty well), until his translator comes and the talk about the new "WII..." game, Wii music, and how it will just use the Wii remote, and how innovate it is, and the huge multitude of instruments (Over 50). Shigeru starts to play an F-Zero song, and demonstrates the Piano, Guitar, Violin, Marching Drums, Drums, and about the first demo where he was conducting 2 years ago, and that it is still in the game. They then say they will play a song, the SUPER MARIO BROTHERS THEME. (Featuring Miyamoto on the Cowbell! ;D)
12:08-12:10 - Recap of events, new games, and events and peripheral. And Reggie BRAGS OUTRIGHT about how good they are, by saying "Fad doesn't mean anything, no matter how much SOME PEOPLE want to believe it." And about how Nintendo keeps on pushing on
Looking Back: I thought it was 2 hours, but I guess I was wrong. It was pretty good, I guess, although I would have liked those Core Games they said they would deliver. I mean, we got Animal Crossing (And I am ecstatic about that, don't get me wrong), but nothing else. At least he said that "the Mario and Zelda team were hard at work"
